We wanted to make such a real pirate hat, so you could recognize it in a moment. 
It doesn't look new, it has a one-piece dome, and it's waxed so it doesn't absorb or let water through.
Leather crosses on the margins are decorative (the fields are hemmed with hidden threads), which made it possible not to make through large holes in the dome. But, if necessary, we can make them end-to-end, at your request.

A wonderful viscose lining with a pattern inside perfectly complements the look of a pirate ship captain who has always aspired to wealth, luxurious things and expressive appearance. We can change the pattern and color of the lining when tailoring to order.
The edging is sewn in such a way that the stitches are almost invisible. 

We have aged and treated hat to bring out the texture of genuine leather.
The fringe of the leather has also been smoothed and finished to look like this hat is years old and has weathered more than one storm.
You can see all this in the photos. So we hope that we managed to make such a real leather pirate hat even a little better than it could be. We liked this hat so much and inspired us in the process of work that we arranged a small photo shoot to show how it can look with a suit.

Usually this is not required for waxed leather, as it holds its shape well, but upon request, additional thin wire can be sewn into the edge.
