This is a very soft and cute hedgehog. It is fully knitted. Crochet is not used in this pattern.

The body of the toy is knitted on the double pointed needles. This toy is knitted of acrylic yarn 400m / 100 g. 3 mm needles are used.

You can knit a toy on 2 straight knitting needles. Do all the increases and decreases as instructed. Just make a backseam.

To make this toy hedgehog knitting pattern, you need:

* Yarn A to knit the body (I used gray acrylic yarn 400m/100 g);

* Yarn B to knit a sweater (I used yellow acrylic yarn 400m/100 g);

* Fluffy yarn (yarn C) to knit the back of a hedgehog (I used the Yarn Art Samba, 150m/100g);

* 2 black beads to make eyes;

* Double pointed needles (I used 3mm);

* Hollow fiber stuffing;

* Sewing needle;

* Scissors.

Abbreviated terms used:

K – knit

M1 – make a stitch by lifting strand between stitches from front and knit in back of strand

P – purl

st – stitch

K2 – knit 2 stitches together

P2tog – purl 2 stitches together

sl1pw – slip one purlwise

RS – right side

WS – wrong side

This pattern of cute toy hedgehog is at an easy/intermediate level. Previous amigurumi experience is recommended. You need to know how to work stockinette stitch on double pointed needles.
