These are knitted socks in ethnic style. They are decorated with a pattern of traditional Russian embroidery. These patterns protect their owner, are used as a talisman.

To make these socks, you need:

* White and red yarn. I used wool blend yarn, 250 m/100 g;

* Double pointed needles 3 mm;

*Sewing needle;

*Scissors.

Abbreviated terms used:

K – knit

P – purl

st – stitch

K2 – knit 2 stitches together

P2 – purl 2 stitches together

M1 – make a stitch by lifting strand between stitches from front and knit in back of strand

This pattern is at an intermediate level. You need to know how to work stockinette stitch, how to knit fair isle pattern.
