With this crochet Deer PATTERN you will be able to create a 4" (10 cm) vintage Christmas amigurumi teddy deer toy.

This crochet pattern is in English (US terms) and contains detailed instructions and auxiliary photo- and video instructions of the deer toy creation. 
The video tips are in Russian, but they are very easy to understand and follow.
You have to master basic crochet skills (single crochet, chain stitches, slip stitch, increase / decrease, etc.).

You will need:
o    velour/plush yarn: 1 skein of brown and a bit of white/off-white color (I used Yarnart Velour, 100 g/ 170 m);
o    semi cotton/cotton yarn of dark brown color for horns (optionally) (I used Yarnart Jeans, 50 g/250 m);
o    2.5 mm crochet hook and smaller size hooks for finishing pieces and weaving ends
o    stuffing material (polyester);
o    plastic for hooves (optionally);
o    lace cotton yarn (or cotton embroidery floss) for eyes and snout decoration (black, white, brown);
o    wire for horns;
o    glue (I used transparent «Moment Crystal»);
o    ribbon, bells for decoration (optionally);
o    scissors, marker(s) and other auxiliary tools and materials.

Finished size: If you crochet your toy with tools & materials recommended in this pattern your finished item will be about 4”/10 cm.
