Welding Project Plans Drawings Lion (DXF, PDF)

All questions regarding the project can be asked in direct instagram (@ta6urkin) or by e-mail ([email protected]

This is a digital product (there is no physical product) intended for the independent production of sheet metal products. You should be able to cut out parts on a CNC metal cutting machine or manually with a convenient cutting tool using a stencil (for example, a grinder). Also, you should be able to bend the parts on a bending machine or manually, at the end welding the parts together according to the instructions and, if desired, cleaning and painting the finished product. Please note that the drawings are distributed on the condition that your finished product is a finished sculpture, the sale of welding kits based on my drawings is strictly prohibited.

The Lion involves the manufacture of steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm and a bending radius of 1 mm. The weight of the Lion is about 100 kg. There are 70 parts in total. The design documentation includes 68 pages, 65 of which are bending drawings. The instruction includes 51 pages in the order of assembly. The bend line is drawn along the cutouts in the part, in accordance with the drawing. The archive includes: dxf (65 pcs.- files separately and for a sheet 2400×1200, 2500×1250, 3000×1500), Drawings (68 pages), Instructions (51 pages). Overall dimensions of the sculpture (LxWxH): 2101х1669х1993 mm.

Since this project is more complicated than others, I have added a link to a 3d model, which is desirable to view along with drawings and instructions from a computer. The link is in the Word file in the archive. Please do not share this link, the link is private. The model is not downloadable, just viewing.

In case you will not screw the sculpture to the floor, you may need a support for the front paw, it is recommended to cut it out of 3 – 5mm thick steel and place it as shown in the figure below, or you can make a tubular frame yourself. The sculpture will still stand without these props, but it will be less stable.

The project is available DXF with engraving and without engraving. Remember to set up the layers before cutting, otherwise the machine may cut the parts along the engraving line.

If you need to create a stencil for printing in PDF format or create a DXF file with all the parts located on the sheet metal format you need, please contact me.

The files you download are not intended for distribution (in any form, digital or printed), they are intended for you and your production. You have the right to manufacture and sell products created according to these drawings (only finished sculpture) in any quantities.

Please note that the drawings are distributed on the condition that your finished product is a finished sculpture, the sale of welding kits based on my drawings is strictly prohibited.

Thank you and good luck with your work!
