This listing is for an APRIL Hat KNITTING PATTERN only. Not a ready product!

The April hat is a garter stitch hat beanie with a small neat pattern made of slipped stitches.

 

NOTES:

  • The hat is seamless and worked in the round.
  • This beanie pattern includes 3 sizes.
  • Skill Level: Intermediate.
  • The hat pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
  • Skills: basic knitting skills (knit, purl, working in the round, slipping stitches, decreases), reading charts or working with written instructions.

SIZES (S-M-L):

1) S – small size, head circumference 20.5-21’’ (52-54 cm).

2) M – middle size, head circumference 22-23’’ (56-58 cm).

3) L – large size, head circumference 24-24.5’’ (60-62 cm).

The width of the hat is 7.9-8.75-9.5’’ (20-22-24 cm) after blocking.

The height of the hat is 8-8.75-9.25’’ (20.5-22-23.5 cm) after blocking.

YARN: 2 skeins of Lima Uni Drops (65% wool, 35% alpaca) or Karisma Drops (100% wool) 109 yds/1.76 oz (100 m/50 g). You can use any DK or Worsted weight yarn.

NEEDLES: 16’’ (40 cm) US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle and needles for small circumference at crown (set of dpns).

GAUGE: 22 sts x 30 rows = 4 x 4’’ (10 x 10 cm) worked in Stockinette st with US 4 (3.5 mm) dpns after blocking.

Notions: 3 stitch markers, cable needle, row counter (optional), tapestry needle.
