The Bustan shawl is a crescent shawl with large wingspan. It’s made in one piece from the center (garter tab cast-on) to the lace edging worked with traditional lace stitch patterns and finished with a crochet bind-off. This design is pretty simple, but very beautiful!

The pattern is fully charted (no row-by-row written instructions)

with photo tutorial for crochet bind-off.

• You can use any natural fiber yarn of lace or fingering weight.
• The shawl is worked top down in one piece.
• Knitting skills required: reading charts, basic lace knowledge, blocking lace shawls.

• 80-100 g of lace or 120-140 gr fingering weight natural yarn suitable for shawls (mohair, merino wool, wool, linen).
• 40-inch (100 cm) circular needles.
• Crochet hook.
• Blocking pins.
