Lemongrass resembles a tall climbing vine. It resembles a vine that winds around other trees. It belongs to the magnolia species and grows up to 15 meters long.

The fruits of the lemongrass are berries consisting of two cyst-shaped seeds. They are bright red in color, juicy and quite sour to the taste. The seeds, roots and stems of the plant have the characteristic smell of an ordinary lemon. This is the reason for its name.

Therapeutic qualities
Tonic and invigorating properties of lemongrass fruits have been known since the fifth century. The people of the Far East used its dried fruit for stamina during hunting.

Today, the plant has found its universal purpose as a powerful antioxidant that eliminates physical and mental fatigue. Its effective action has been proven in cases of depression and asthenia.

Elixir prepared from the fruit of the plant is widely used for the prevention of colds and viral diseases. With his help, the amount of glycogen is reduced in the liver and muscles. The content of lactate (lactic acid) changes in the opposite way.
