Steel Sheet Metal Drawings Plans Pattern Template Gorilla Project Sculpture (dxf, PDF)

This is a digital product (there is no physical product) intended for the independent production of sheet metal products. You should be able to cut out parts on a CNC metal cutting machine or manually with a convenient cutting tool using a stencil (for example, a grinder). Also, you should be able to bend the parts on a bending machine or manually, at the end welding the parts together according to the instructions and, if desired, cleaning and painting the finished product. Please note that the drawings are distributed on the condition that your finished product is a finished sculpture, the sale of welding kits based on my drawings is strictly prohibited.

The Gorilla sculpture involves the manufacture of steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm and a bending radius of 1 mm. The minimum bending angle is 11,9 degrees, the maximum angle is 90 degrees. The weight of the sculpture is about 73kg. There are 73 details in total. The design documentation includes 46 pages, 44 of which are bending drawings. The instruction includes 24 pages in the order of assembly. There are mirror parts in the assembly and have an index (_01) and their bending must be performed in the other direction. The bend line is drawn along the cutouts in the part, in accordance with the drawing. The archive includes: dxf (44 pcs.- files separately), Drawings (46 pages), Instructions (24 pages).

The project has a DXF with an engraving layer, the cutting layer is called “Cut”, the engraving layer is “Engrav”, when cutting, do not forget to mark the layers on the machine. There is engraving for both standard parts and mirror ones, so all parts from this archive must be cut one at a time, the number is also indicated in the name of the parts, a total of 73 parts, do not mirror the parts when nesting. Please note that the engraving layer is on the inside of the part, in the drawings the bending directions are indicated on the outside of the part.
