Welding Project Plans Drawings Mini Gorilla (DXF, PDF)

This is a digital product (there is no physical product) intended for the independent production of sheet metal products. You should be able to cut out parts on a CNC metal cutting machine or manually with a convenient cutting tool using a stencil (for example, a grinder). Also, you should be able to bend the parts on a bending machine or manually, at the end welding the parts together according to the instructions and, if desired, cleaning and painting the finished product. Please note that the drawings are distributed on the condition that your finished product is a finished sculpture, the sale of welding kits based on my drawings is strictly prohibited.

This is a simplified small size project. This project is not scalable.

Please note, this is a small version of the project with a height of 28mm, the large project is not included, the large gorilla project is purchased separately.

The Mini Gorilla involves the manufacture of steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm and a bending radius of 1 mm. The weight of the Mini Gorilla is about 2,4 kg. There are 33 parts in total. The design documentation includes 25 pages, 23 of which are bending drawings. The instruction includes 11 pages in the order of assembly. The bend line is drawn along the cutouts in the part, in accordance with the drawing. The archive includes: dxf (23 pcs.- files separately and for a one sheet), Drawings (25 pages), Instructions (11 pages). Overall dimensions of the sculpture (LxWxH): 263x194x279 mm.

The project is available DXF with engraving and without engraving. Remember to set up the layers before cutting, otherwise the machine may cut the parts along the engraving line. Please note that the direction of the bend in the drawings is indicated on the outside of the part, and the engraving is on the inside of the part. Cutting layer “Cut”, engraving layer “Engrav”. Remember to assign layers before cutting so that the machine does not cut the parts along the engraving line.

In this project there are corners that are inconvenient for bending the machine, but because of the small size, these parts can be loaded manually.

The files you download are not intended for distribution (in any form, digital or printed), they are intended for you and your production. You have the right to manufacture and sell products created according to these drawings (only finished sculpture) in any quantities.
