A preservative for a variety of cosmetics. The safety of the use of all products of firms specializing in caring and decorative cosmetics is the main quality criterion.

The stability of bronopol as an additive and the ability to stop the growth of bacteria, including the bacillus Pseudomonas aeruginosa, allows it to be used as part of caring agents.

Properties:

A change in the pH level in the range from 5 to 8 does not have a tangible effect on bronopol. If a cosmetic product contains anionic and nonionic surfactants, lecithin, protein, this does not affect the effectiveness of the preservative.

The final cosmetic product must be packed in glass or plastic containers - the preservative reacts to aluminum. An alkaline environment also weakens the properties of the additive.

Advantages:

At a normal pH level, it effectively fights against pathogenic microflora;
Due to the high melting limit (118-124C), caring products can not be stored in the refrigerator;
