Appearance: waxy white flakes. They have a mild floral scent.
Chemical composition: cetearyl olivate (40-45%), sorbitan olivate (55-60%)
Solubility: soluble in oils. Does not dissolve in water. Slightly soluble in alcohol. The melting point should not exceed 60 degrees. The optimum is considered to be 45-55 degrees Celsius.
Natural wax of olive leaves. It is obtained by the method of extraction (pressing). It has been used in cosmetics since ancient times. The wax is hard, but very plastic, quickly softens when heated over 40 degrees.
Properties: olive wax is used as an emulsifier, thickener. Allows you to create cosmetics with different consistencies.
Application: used for the manufacture of various ointments and creams, as well as shampoos, conditioners, lip balms and lipsticks.
Dosages: The maximum recommended input percentage is 5%. The minimum concentration in cosmetics is 0.5%. In skin care products - up to 3%, in lipstick and balms - no more than 4%, in nail wax and solid creams - up to 5%, in masks for dry skin - 2%, in wax for epilation - no more than 3 %.
